UInjectForge Privacy Policy

Effective September 1, 2026

UInjectForge helps you process your own game backups into customized Wii U titles. Most work happens locally on your device. This policy explains what the app stores, when it connects to other services, and what remains under your control.

Files and information stored on your device

UInjectForge stores settings, saved-base records, build history, recovery checkpoints, trial status, cached purchase entitlement, imported sources, temporary work files, and completed output on your device. Keys that you choose to save are kept in app-private storage and use platform-protected storage where available. Android app backup is disabled.

Your selected game, artwork, base, runtime, and other source files are processed locally. UInjectForge does not automatically upload those files to the developer.

Network features you choose to use

UInjectForge can contact third-party services when you request online artwork, metadata, compatibility information, or base downloads. Those requests can reveal connection information and the identifiers or asset paths being requested to the selected provider. Current providers can include GitHub, Libretro, GameTDB, and Nintendo content-delivery infrastructure. Some legacy Wii U content-delivery requests may use unencrypted HTTP and should not be treated as confidential.

Wii U discovery, HTTP transfer, FTP transfer, and Assistant features communicate with a console on your local network. Use these features only on a network you trust.

Google Play purchases

The Android app offers three successful builds per installation and a one-time Google Play purchase for unlimited builds. Google Play processes the purchase and provides entitlement information to the app. UInjectForge stores the successful-build count and last confirmed entitlement in protected app-private storage. The developer does not operate a UInjectForge account or licensing server. Clearing app data or reinstalling can reset the local free-build count.

Support information

Support bundles are created locally and are shared only when you choose to export and send them. UInjectForge attempts to redact sensitive values, but you should review a bundle before sharing it. Information you voluntarily send for support is retained only as needed to investigate the report and maintain project records.

Advertising, analytics, and accounts

UInjectForge does not include advertising or developer-operated analytics and does not create a UInjectForge account. Platform services and third-party sites used at your request operate under their own privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

You can remove temporary files, imported sources, caches, history, and completed builds using UInjectForge's storage controls. Uninstalling the app removes app-private data according to the operating system. Files that you export to another folder, cloud provider, SD card, or Wii U remain there until you delete them.

Children

UInjectForge is a technical utility intended for people who can lawfully manage their own game backups. It is not designed for children.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when app features or service providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
